The Braves organization, is a non-profit 501(C)3 organization that has provided youth sports in the San Fernando Valley since 1972. Consisting of all volunteers devoted first and foremost to encourage scholastic achievement and to provide a safe, healthy environment for youths to develop in both athletics and citizenship. Our program includes boys and girls between the ages of 4 to 15.

Our Mission:

The mission of the San Fernando Braves Football and Cheer Program is to develop desire, determination and drive youth. While providing for an equipped and safe environment for the youth of the area in gathering and interacting with each other.  

Our goal is to help youth through consistent adult encouragement and support, accomplished by teamwork.  By preparing the youth of today in making healthy choices, guiding them to become responsible citizens and leaders.  

 We believe these values and virtues are important to their growth and to them becoming active members of our community and society.



Additionally, we strive to improve the lives of youth of all backgrounds by providing a strong foundation of self esteem, community spirit, achievement and most of all respect. 

Finally, our board is committed to  ensure that our players are only issued equipment that has been certified acceptable for use and meets safety standards.  As we do not put any child in harms’ way.  This is why the equipment has been replaced for the past several years.  This year orders will be submitted early to ensure that all players are suited up.
